A 9-way TS style pedal that has perfect replications of 9 different screamer pedals in one. \u003c\/p\u003e \u003ch3\u003e9 Screamers In One\u003c\/h3\u003e \u003cp\u003eWhile particular models like the 9 and 808 are considered the originals and the most popular TS pedals there are loads of modded variations of these pedals that may suit your sound better than you can imagine. So here is a quick breakdown of the 9 different replications that are in the Bonsai. \u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eOD-1 - 1977\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAn overall brighter and slightly higher gain mode that does not utilise the Tone knob. This mode also inverts signal just like the original and has symmetrical clipping. The OD-1 is magical at boosting other drives or amps into singing saturation.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTS-808 - 1979\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe classic low gain with that signature pronounced mid range.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTS-9 - 1982\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eNearly identical to the TS-808 but with a slightly more pushed low-mid range.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMSL, Power or L Series - 1985\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThough metal is in the name, this sound doesn't quite inspire the modern metal djent we think of.  Still it has a higher gain sound with a more low end and an overall more gooey feel.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTS-10 - 1986\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eMade famous by John Mayer, this model is a slight upgrade from the TS9 for the late '80s. Bluesy, crisp, more low end roll off and low gain.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eExar OD-1 1989\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe EXAR is a Polish made TS-style pedal that has a slightly different drive character with a little more gain than the classic screamers as well as a slightly more transparent feel.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTS-7 (+mode) - 1999\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe hot mode on this version gives you the highest gain sound in the Bonsai. More low end and dirt fill out the tone to have you shredding away.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eKeeley Mod Plus - 2002\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eRobert Keeley's classic mod tightens up the tone on the original giving you smoother mid range and high frequencies, and increased bass response.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eJHS Strong Mod - 2008\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOur own mod we've been doing since 2008 is much cleaner and overall more powerful.
