The Fulltone Soul Bender SB-2 is based on the classic Colour Sound and Vox Series III Tone Benders from the late 60's. The originals were used and abused by both Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page on recordings between 1968-70. The Fulltone SB-2 uses 3 gain-matched Germanium TO-1 transistors to deliver a FAT lead searing lead sound. The New version has an improved Tone section which is much more forgiving than the original and allows you to really smooth off the sound.
Fulltone have a long history with classic fuzz pedals and they are still the market leader when it comes to creating the most authentic, vintage sounding fuzz pedals.
