Including a voicing switch the Velvet Fuzz is a versatile pedal. In the 'big' position the pedal reacts like a classic fuzz. Loads of internal compression and massive 'thick' tones. Dropping your guitar volume back cleans up so your rhythm can remain clear. In the 'tight' position the tone comes in and you get the feeling you have swapped amps. You still achieve the awesome fuzz tone but without the compressions traits for a more defined tone.
